This morning over breakfast Eric told the kids that in a few days we’ll be celebrating the 40th year since we walked on the moon. Both kids gasped and Bella said “You walked on the moon?” Uh, no. Since “we” meaning “the United States” walked on the moon. I’m trying to keep in mind that they are too young to realize that Eric and I are too young to have walked on the moon 40 years ago. Oy!
